Honeymoon Plans!

This part of planning the wedding is the best! The Honeymoon! We have reserved a week of honeymoon bliss at Secrets Maroma Beach Riviera in Cancun! This got fabulous reviews on Trip Advisor. I love Trip Advisor. I used it to plan our getaway last year to Key West Florida and they were spot on with their reviews.

This is the Junior Suite Swim out we reserved in the all inclusive adults only resort.

With this cold cold winter, I'm so excited to be going here for our honeymoon. Only 118 days until our wedding!

Scrapbook Weekend!

My annual scrapbook weekend is coming up with my favorite person to scrapbook with, my sister!

My Sissy!!
We get so excited about this 3 day weekend where all we do is scrap, eat, and laugh. Both of our birthdays are in January so we celebrate by going on this trip! This is our 3rd year going to Pennsylvania to Scrapbooking Weekend Getaways.

Here's a picture of the ballroom we scrap in!

They have fabulous vendors.  One is Cranberry Cat.  They have everything you could possibly need! I love to be able to just walk over get whatever I need.  Maybe a certain color cardstock, or that perfect embellishment to finish off a project.  There are some new vendors this year as well which I'm looking forward to.

My scrap space from last year and a double layout I was working on.

Only a few more weeks until my scrapbook escape weekend!  This year my sister and I have vowed to work on our trip to Europe albums.  We are hoping to get at least one country done. We visited so many places and have hundreds of photos to scrap!  Happy Scrapping all!

Happy 2014!

The holidays are always such a whirlwind. Now that things have settled down, and the kids are going back to school some sort of routine can get back in place.

This new year is a big one for me as I am getting married in May. It is a small wedding in a beautiful restaurant. I have been busy designing my own wedding invitation.  The wedding has a somewhat fairly tale/castle theme, so my invitations will be of that. I sent out my Save the dates so I thought I'd share what they look like. I don't want to post my invitation until I have sent them out.
Of course they are castle themed.

I cut out the castle and the words Save the Date from my cricut.

Then printed out the card and added some ribbon and bling.

The invitations will be similar with purple being my favorite color right now. That is the color I choose for the wedding.
So much more to do to prepare to marry my prince. The next thing is to find a dress, and outfit for my groom and my son and daughter.

Also in the works this year is to continue to fill my Etsy shop.I recently made a twitter account to get the word out even more. So if you would like to follow me on twitter, there is a new link on the right top of my blog.  I have some new cards posted in my Etsy shop but would love to do some other projects as well.
