Card club first card swap

I wanted to share the beautiful cards I received at card club last night with my Stampin Up group.  Lead by my consulatant Michelle Halleen.  These ladies have some great talent and we always have so much fun creating a project and doing our card swap.

The Theme was Flowers inspired by Michelle's gorgeous roses going up to her home, and they had to pop somehow.

This card was made by Angela

This card was made by Tracy and she was our hostess for the evening! Thanks Tracy!

This card was made by Michelle our leader!

This card was made by Liz and it's a shaker card!

This card was made by Rachelle.

(I forgot to add my card to the bunch, so I'm adding it now.)

Next month our theme is Birthday and I get to be the hostess.  Happy Crafting everyone!

This is the awesome project we did too.  I want to make some of my own versions for gifts in the future.
Michelle has some great ideas and classes.  You can visit her website at Stampin up by just clicking that link.

Love

This week Atlantic Heart Sketch Challenge #65 was a little tough for me at first.  I was putting together my Banner Blast Stamps from Stampin Up and they had a cute little heart stamp with it so I decided instead of flowers, I would use the hearts as the flowers.  The stems I used Playful Flourishes from CTMH.  I have used that stamp set so much.  It comes in handy.

When I was in AC Moore the other day they had a big sale on embossing folders so I picked up the heart one. I  used it to emboss the front of the card. I free handed, with an
Exacto knife,  the half circles and doubled them up.  The "love" sentiment is a rub on. The glass baubles on the bottom I got years ago at a scrapbook retreat and haven't seen them since then.

Then I used Stickle on the stamped hearts and a few dots all over to give it that pretty look. I have a shower coming up so I may use this pretty card with my shower gift.

I'd love to see what you create.  Hop on over to Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge and join in on the fun!

Scrapbook Room Old but New

Everyone is always looking for ideas on how to organize their craft rooms and supplies, so I thought I'd make a quick post of my newly reorganized scrap room.  I moved my desk in front of the window for better light and I have a great view of my pool.  Let me know what you think!

I just love my space! I never want to leave it!
